Dr Theresa Hanh Hieu Ho MBBS (Syd), DCH, FRACP
Theresa is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Bankstown Hospital and also works in private practice in both Cabramatta and Bankstown. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Theresa obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney and completed her Diploma in Child Health and paediatric training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She has worked at numerous hospitals across New South Wales and has been practicing in paediatrics for over 20 years, gaining extensive experience in managing a wide range of childhood health issues.
In addition to her clinical work, Theresa has delivered multiple workshops at health seminars, sharing her expertise with medical professionals and community groups. These presentations reflect her commitment to community health education and her role as a trusted voice in paediatric care.
Her professional interests lie in the growth and developmental health of children, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about supporting families in navigating their child’s developmental journey.
Dr Luke Lowes MB, BS (UNSW), FRACP
Luke is a VMO paediatrician at the Sydney Children’s Hospital and the Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. He is a Senior Lecturer in Children’s Health at The University of New South Wales. Luke has worked and trained in various paediatric and neonatal units across New South Wales providing him with a wealth of experience.
Luke obtained his medical degree through the University of New South Wales and completed his Paediatrics training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick.
Luke enjoys all aspects of paediatric care from newborns to adolescents. He works with children who have acute as well as complex and chronic medical issues. Luke practices patient-centred care whilst working closely with the patient’s family and other health care providers.
Dr Hong Truong MD, DCH (Syd), FRACP
Hong is a VMO of Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Hong obtained her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She then practiced as a paediatric consultant in both public children hospital and international private hospitals including paediatric and neonatal retrieval services. Hong has retaken full paediatric training through Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick and received Specialist Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
With more than 15 years in paediatrics, Hong has gained wide variety of experience in general paediatrics, neonatology, developmental paediatrics, subspecialties (such as neurology) and paediatric emergency. She is dedicated to providing the very best care for her patients and families.
Dr Tran Tu Tran Nguyen BMed, MD (UNSW), FRACP
Tran is a General Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist. Tran has appointments as a Staff Specialist in immunisation at the National Centre for Immunisation, Research and Surveillance and is a Consultant Paediatrician at Bankstown hospital. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Tran completed her dual specialty training at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. She is a member of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases and an adjunct lecturer in the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of New South Wales.
Tran has extensive experience in helping children and their families diagnose and manage a wide range of paediatric conditions. These include growth, developmental and behavioural concerns, reflux, constipation, eczema, unexplained fevers, childhood and travel related infections and immunisation advice.
